Become an EDvance School
Fogarty EDvance is your opportunity to be part of a program that is changing student outcomes and changing lives. Your school will complete the three year program as part of a cohort of like minded school leaders.
To be eligible for the program, your school will need to be serving a disadvantaged community, with an ICSEA of ~990 or below, or have more than 250 students in the bottom quartile of advantage. We work with both government and non-government schools in both metro Perth and regional Western Australia.
Schools completing our program are led by a principal or leadership team who are committed to a three-year improvement journey and believe education outcomes for your students can always be better.
For more information, see our latest Recruitment Brochure.
Support our program
The EDvance program is an initiative of the Fogarty Foundation. The program is also financially supported by the Western Australian Government through the Department of Education, and by Catholic Education Western Australia. By making a contribution, funders close the remaining gap and enable schools to access the program.
You can support the EDvance program by becoming a Major Funding Partner (previous major funders have given between $25,000-$200,000 p.a.); including Fogarty EDvance in your company gift-matching program or making a one-off end of financial year donation; or by joining an established Giving Circle or setting up your own Giving Circle (from as little as $500/year).
By becoming an EDvance funder, you will get the opportunity to gain insight into our program, see the program in action, join school leaders and mentors at workshops, and visit the EDvance schools.

The Fogarty EDvance Program provides ongoing and practical support for school leadership teams in Western Australia. I commend its strong emphasis on adapting and refining evidence-based strategies that suit the context of individual schools so that measurable differences in students’ performance and achievement can be achieved.
