Students help teachers improve their teaching skills

Children from Dawson Park Primary School have returned to the classroom during their summer holidays to help teachers improve their teaching.

The Years 3 and 4 students agreed to return to their Forrestfield school for a week so teachers could practise their skills using the “explicit instruction” teaching method.

Teachers observe the method and then practise delivering it.
